All original 1935 Maine passenger car license plate, in very good+ condition. White on blue colors. This plate is straight, with no serious damages at all. No bends, deep scratches, tears, cracks, deep rust or tarnish. There are a few tiny, light scratches from use, and a few light shelf storage marks. No extra holes, or other serious damages are seen. A very nice presentation piece. Not bad for being 80 years old. The dark blue background color is slightly faded, but can be polished out with some elbow grease, and some wax or rubbing compound. The white paint is excellent throughout. This is an embossed, steel plate. There are boltmarks on the upper two boltholes.
Please see the photos of the front and rear of this plate. The plate is clean and still has most of its original shine.
