“There is rust in various places, and it's particularly heavy on the left hand side of the plate. There is wear on the lettering and the number "5" appears to have two spots of red paint on it. Also, the metal is warped in one spot along the top edge. Please see pictures!”

This is a vintage 1948 North Carolina license plate. It has a black background and orange/yellow lettering. The number on the license plate is 500-573. This piece measures 12x5. This plate is used so it has some rust (particularly on the left hand side) and warping in the metal, and the lettering has several scratches on it. The number 5 has two spots of red paint on it as well. Please see my pictures to get a better idea of the condition.
