Item for bid is one 1953 LONDON Ohio 150 Years of Progress Front License Plate. This is not a state issued item. These were made for sale in 1953 for the various Ohio cities for people to buy to show where they were from or to boost their local area. (Only one plate issued 1953, these were put on the front of the car.) This is the 10 inch, flat steel with screen printed letter style. All original, good to very good condition, minor scratches and a 1/2 inch diameter blemished above the ON in London. There is also a slight dent below the 1st N. Nice gloss. Great plate.
