Here is a beautiful vintage 1968-Baseplate Maine Sample Passenger License Plates with 1970 through 1973 Sample Stickers in Near Excellent Condition that has been in my collection a number of years. This particular sample is from a later production and does not have the embossed 68 and tab slots . The condition issues are slight marks on raised border and embossed areas from age and careful storage. The 1973 Sample Sticker was placed (and not too carefully) over a 1969 Sticker. This is a very nice example of a Sample License Plate that is 43 plus years old. Please study the picture carefully as this are being sold as is and every effort has been made to describe it in detail ... returns are not accepted.
I am a 42-year member of ALPCA (Automobile License Plate Collectors Association) and this plate was part of my collection that I continue to downsize.
A word about Shipping ... I am a firm believer in using Priority Mail for shipping items for both speed in delivery and insurance offered by the Postal Service. Even with the recent increase in Postage Rates I have decided not to raise my Shipping Costs and will absorb this increase.
