W. Va 1969 to 1999 license plates Lot of 9 1969 "debossed" plate with noticeable crease, folowed by various base-plates issued from 1970s to 1999, most validated with stickers. The gold plate was used from 1971 to 1976, validated with 1973 sticker. Next we have what probably is W.Va"s most attractive general-issue plate, the popular "map" graphic plates that were issued from 1976 to 1982 with the blue outline. Validated with 1978 sticker. Next is the version without the blue outline that the cops liked better for legibility reason, last issued in 1995. One has 1987 sticker showing, other has sticker removed. Next are four of the modern plates that followed with stickers for 1996 to 1999 as shown. Good condition on average, evident scratches, dents and wear, with the first four plates being the worst of the bunch here. Please study photo carefuly for condition. Decent display to add to add to a barn, garage or rec room. Or use for crafting purposes. All plates more than 3 years old, expired and not valid for use on any vehicle - sold solely as collectibles.
