1959 Pontiac Bonneville Safari. No liens. Black.
This vehicle was purchased, after extensive searching, with the intention of restoration. At that time I had a full shop and mechanic on staff, which is no longer the case. All my former restoration projects have now become sale projects and this is one of them.
This vehicle is one of the cleanest, straight body, non-bondo Safaris I have ever seen (as detailed in the photos). There is not much more to say. If you are looking for one to restore, this is it, and you're probably familiar with the rarity of this year one vehicle. The only major rust is under the spare tire in the trunk pan. All windows work. The vehicle cranks and runs. As you can see, I began work on the engine and it has several nice upgrades, including a very nice radiator. There is an oil leak, coming out of the oil filter area that I have not addressed and do not want to spend the time doing so, since I am selling it.
Please excuse the water on and in the vehicle in the photos. I had just washed the dust off from storage and didn't give enough dry time. The car has no water leaks.
Again, if you are looking for a vehicle that is unique, hardly none on the road, and has a great body for the age look no further.
