here is a great running 69 firebird. all of it's life was spent in florida untill I purchased it 3 months ago. it came as a rolling chassis, I have replaced all safety items so it can be driven in a road safe manner. new clutch, flywheel, pressur plate, brakes, wheel cyl's, leaf springs, shocks, power steering hoses, battery, starter, exhaust, rag joint, radiator(aluminum)new tires, pass side a arm bushings, rebuilt carburetor, serviced transmission & rear end(323 ratio)new fuel lines.etc. the engine is a 350 from a low mileage ventura it runs great, just lacking the performance of the original 350 these birds came with.the engine does not have any noise cold or hot & has 70 psi oil pressure & 40-45 at idle hot. interior was restored back in the 90's. the stereo area had ben cut out by a knuckle head(see pics). here is the work portion, will need drivers floor patch, the rear qtrs will need work(rust around bottom & at back window area)trunk & frame is like new condition-literally(no holes or rust)doors & frt. fenders can be patched rather then replaced but its your call.everything mechanical has been taken care of, everything is available to finish the car, have extra(orig)hood & note small dent on frt left fender(small tree fell on it) this is a original a/c 3 speed manual car but the compressor is missing(everything else there). also need to locate a air cleaner & housing for it. everything is number matching (drivetrain)except the engine. this car can be driven to where ever u live -again everything safety & mechanical has been restored with quality products(no china junk). can also deliver vehicle within a 300 mile radius after pay pal clears(weekend delivery only). this car can be inspected on our hoist or send someone to pre buy inspect-nothing to hide mechanical or safety wise. what is left to do can be seen with the naked eye which is body repair/paint etc.. located 30 miles north of louisville, ky- real close to interstate 65... car has never-ever seen snow so again expect a very nice frame & trunk area. I still have to install the rear leaf springs & will as soon as they arrive. I am going to sit firm on the price, there are plenty of 69 firebird's out there needing more for just as much so if u r a serious buyer this one is probably the one for you, if u shine in the body repair department this one is definatly the one for the price. if u would like pictures of any certain area just ask, ill check daily and get back as soon as time allows.
again, i will stress all safety items(steering, suspension, brakes, lighting etc) is in working order. starts up with no issues, no drivetrain noise-only thing that gripes me is the original engine missing, but hey thats not the end of the world. there is many little items replaced that i just did not mention, i.e. door handle, mirror, trunk latch etc...
must have good past e-bay buyer ratings- unpaid buyers have been blocked-vehicle will be for sale locally & will remove without notice if buyer shows up with the purchase price-sorry to all interested but business is business and cash talks much better then most other things.. if u have been in the market for a 69 bird look this one over, it would be hard to find another this close to finished for the price, i know because i looked for over 3 years for one with a solid frame & one that has not been costomized to fit someone's thought of how to improve what pontiac already built...
