1967 Pontiac Grand Prix Convertible.
This is a rare car, it runs and drives great, and gets a lot of compliments whenever I take it out.
Professionally appraised for $22, 000.00 in 2012, and will continue to increase in value.
The 1967 model year was significant for the Grand Prix, for a variety of reasons.
The Grand Prix got a completely new look from the belt-line down, and, for the first and only time, a production convertible was offered.
Only 5, 856 convertibles were produced out of a total of 42, 981 Grand Prix’s for 1967, and Pontiac would never offer a convertible Grand Prix again.
This is not a completely restored car. It does have new paint, some upholstery, carpet, most suspension components, brakes, and more. Rebuilt engine and transmission with under 2, 500 miles on rebuild, and suspension. The body work, paint, carpet and some upholstery has been done in Mexico, but the drivers seat needs to be rebuilt as the springs are shot.. The rear bumper has been re-chromed.The under carriage is original, there are still a couple rust holes that I have not delt with yet, a small one under the passenger seat behind the driver, and a couple up in the top of the inner fender wells, none of which are visible. There is a newly restored speedo/gauge panel in it, but the fuel sending unit needs to be replaced. The top is in ok condition, I do have a new pump, lines, and new struts for the top, but have not installed them. All the rubber seals need replacing as they are all original. The interior trim and chrome need attention.
The original 14 wheels were replaced with 15 Pontiac Rally wheels.”

It is not a "frame-off" restored car.It has had the engine, transmission, and suspension rebuilt. Body work, paint, carpet and some upholstery has been done, but the drivers seat needs to be rebuilt as the springs are shot.. The rear bumper has been re-chromed.The under carriage is original, there are still rust holes that I have not delt with yet, one under the passenger seat behind the driver, about the size of a silver dollar, and a couple up in the inner front fender wells, none of which are visible. There is a newly restored speedo/gauge panel in it, but the fuel sending unit needs to be replaced. It could use a new top, and seals. I do have a new pump, lines, and new struts for the top, but have not installed them. The original 14" wheels were replaced with 15" Pontiac Rally wheels.” |
