Price: US $48,950.00
Stunning & Very Rare (1 of 461 built nationwide), Highly Optioned, including NUMBERS MATCHING H.O. 400 cubic inch engine(360hp), His/Hers Turbo Hydromatic 3-speed Automatic Tranny, PHS documented & NO RUST! Every option works as it should. I have personally been under the car's front-end to verify that the engine is Number's Matching-the rest of the drive train & frame are also expected to be number's matching per previous owner, but I have not personally verified(no lift). I use Premium non-Ethanol gas & Valvoline VR1 20-50 Racing Oil to keep the flat tappets happy. The car does have a custom header exhaust system, but I do have the original H.O. headers & they can/should go with the car too. A car to see to believe.
REASON FOR SELLING: I am 67 & after having driven this car for over a year, I now realize that I would rather have a hardtop GTO(67-70 vintage). I previously owned a 68 Silver GTO Hardtop(about 19, 000 miles on odometer!) when I was just 20, but had to sell it to complete college-a true bummer knowing what I know today. I had a local auto repair shop add the chrome/white 3 cluster gauge set over the center console(under dash) because I thought that it would not only be functional, but pleasing to look at. Prior to my purchase, 3 owners enjoyed it, with the owner before me doing most of the rebuilding/updating. The previous owner added MSD electronics to facilitate starting. Since 2015, I added a new gas tank(some previous leakage), new Delphi Steering Box to eliminate some wandering, new reproduction Wood Steering Wheel(I have the original) to enhance the tilt wheel operation & the look of the interior(it has a Pontiac center horn button), new 15 BFG Radial TAs(5), 5 new 15 Unique wheels from the makers of Cragar wheels, new rear Monroe Air Shocks(previous wouldn't hold air), new Legendary Vinyl Interior & Convertible Boot. More recently, I had the Heater Core rebuilt. I have receipts for all the work I have had done & I have many receipts from the previous owner too. The car was delivered to me with 5 mounted Rally II wheels(of course, 1 for spare) and they go with the car if you desire-picture attached.
Please call Glenn @ 208-457-3009(land line) or cell #208-770-7794 for additional details. I appreciate your interest. PS, You will really enjoy the sound of the tail pipes.
