Here we have a 1970 PONTIAC GTO CLONE, built from a LeMans. The complete nose was installed with the radiator support. This was a body off frame restoration that was never finished. The frame has been sand blated and sprayed with POR15. All steel lines replaced, new fuel tank , rear from GTO with boxed control arms and sway bar , 390 gears non posi. All new brakes with hardware, shoes and drums all around as well as master w/ booster. Rebuilt 1970 400 motor, Balanced and blueprinted, 12 to1 pistons, comp cam, roller rockers, new intake, carb, electric fuel pump, coated headers, new performace dist. Dyno tested 485 hp. Rebuilt 1970 Turbo 400 Trans , high volume pump, shift kit, 9 3000 stall converter all HD sprags. Heavy duty U joints installed to handle the HP. Hew 4 core Aluminum Radiator. We installed all new dual exhaust which was custom bent. This thing runs great and rides like a new 1970 GTO. Everthing is new front to rear, the reserve is just about the cost of the drivetrain alone, we were only a few bids away from the resreve last time so bid to win this rare muscle car !!!! The was a decent car before we CLONED IT the nose is all correct 1970, a new deck lid was used , a complete floor pan was insatlled while the body was off, the doors need a little work to be perfect. We have a new set of Quarter skins and truck pan included with the car. There are a few little rust spots in the trunk , we shot the car in a SEM Hot Rod White just to keep the body in a work in progress state. The interior is fair , blue buckets clean dashpad and floor shift consoul. The top is not good but the frame is in nice shape. We have the matching blue boot, so it looks ok. We also installed a brand new windshield. We put this car together with spare parts from another GTO Conv build. This CLONE turns some heads and smokes the tires. We just did a bit more assembly and added pictures with the wheel. We were almost there last time , so close. We have a low resreve which just covers the price of parts and work we sent out, motor and trans build. If you play with PONTIACS you know its not cheap to build a 400. We did all the dirty work , quality paint and an interior would have you at 1/2 the price of a TRUE GTO CONVERTIBLE, we will answer all questions ASAP. A $500 deposit is required at the close of the auction via paypal, balance due at pick up of car. We can not store the car but will work with the buyer and help loading the car...
