Solid car that gets thumbs up and praise everywhere it goes! The Paint is marginal, looks great at ten feet, but on closer inspection has a couple spots that could use attention. My plan was to repaint this summer and install new weather stripping, but plans changed and I need the cash, hate to sell it, but life goes on and it will be a great car for someone else! I have several people interested in the car locally (so I reserve the right to end the auction early), but they have not shown cash so here we go.
Things that I have done and are new- Dash and Gauges ($1200), steering wheel, Carpet w/Dynamat, all locks new and keyed the same, Light switch, Carb (Edelbrock 600cfm elec choke), Battery, Alternator, Regulator, filters, oil change, trans gasket filter and fluid, Front disc brake conversion, full tune up including point elimination kit from Excel. also changed the heater core.Car runs great and is beautiful. I am very picky, some of the small things the car could use, some of the chrome is showing wear, weatherstripping is showing age (entire kit is $400 and easy to install), the drivers side rear quarter has a several small dents and scratches. I checked the cylinder bores with my bore scope and they are in great shape with no ridge at the top. the mileage shows 65k on the original and 105 since the new gauges. I believe the 65k is original due to the shape and cleanliness of the engine. The title does show a 0 for miles though. The car does have a small exhaust leak that you can hear in the video.
Tires are in good shape, Air shocks in the rear, I removed the stereo and disc changer to clean up the dash since the holes were not cut in the new one. All of the original parts will be included with the car (original four barrel carb and cleaner, steering wheel, locks) except the drum brakes that went in the recycle bin.
I can add more pics of anything that you want a closer look at, just drop me a mail. The video shows the car on a cold start (one pump before i hit the key) as you can see by the temp gauge. Fuel sender may need to be replaced as it was on full a couple days ago and now shows 3/4. Minor stuff but I would want someone to tell me! All the glass is good. the top has one descent scuff on the drivers side as shown in the pics.
