This Car is the GTO enthusiasts opportunity to get one without breaking the bank. It is a Lemans but can easily be cloned into a GTO. It does not run but has a good body and is a southern car, been in Florida most of its life. I purchased the vehicle from a man that was in the military, and he had it, his son used it in high school around 2004-2005 and it was running as of 4-5 years ago. You cannot go wrong with this car if you put some money into it. Feel free to ask me any questions you would like, I will do my best to answer them promptly. | “Here is a 1971 Pontiac Lemans. This Car needs to be restored, does not run, but I will do my best to give a complete explanation of what you are bidding on. This car was running as of 4-5 years ago. I was told, the timing chain had some problems, and needed a new timing chain cover. This part is in the Car. The Engine is a 350 I am told. As far as I can tell evrything is Original on the car. It has a 12bolt rear end. It has torsion bars which I am also told makes it easier to do a frame off restoration. The driver and passenger doors open and close just like they are brand new, with no sagging. The seats need to be reupholstered, , interior needs to be redone as well. I have taken a pic of the odometer it reads 89,000 and some change.the condition of the car tells me it may be original miles. This car has never been in an accident. I have taken as many pics as possible except for engine pics, the hood latch lever is broken, but if i get the hood open , i will also attach engine pics.” |
