I'm selling
this car because I'm getting married and she said its me or the car, , just kidding ha ha!
Although I really am getting married, the real reason is that I recently
purchased a 1969 Chevelle and am planning to make right this
summer coming up and don't really have the room for it.
I did the same with this Trans Am 5 years ago.
Although it really didn't need
much, I insisted on tweaking it in areas that would have passed as great
condition and made to excellent condition. Since I've had it, it has NEVER been
driven in rain or snow and is stored every winter.
The car was restored prior to my purchasing it with new sheet metal, engine and
trans rebuild along with some new interior parts.
I installed new seat covers, carpet and headliner along with the plastic trim
surrounding the t tops and seat backs as well. Factory 8 track tape player (works great). I had new exhaust installed with
the factory manifolds (had headers) with straight dual exhaust ending with
walker factory like tail pipes and it sounds awesome. The oil pan and rear main
leaked a little (mainly from sitting and not being driven much) and I had those
replaced as well. New brakes, battery, complete tune up, power antenna, radio.
Brand new BF Goodrich TA radials on Brand new 15X8 snowflake wheels that I had powder coated chrome finish and they look awesome!!! This car has power door locks but the previous owner did not cut the holes in
the new door trim panels for the switches. I have the switches and mounting brackets.
The air conditioning works great (just had a charge put in it last summer.) All
the lights inside and out work and the only thing on this car that doesn’t work
is the cruise control. I was told by my tech the only thing needed for this is
the cruise servo and mount bracket.
The body is solid and straight with only a couple minor scratches and dings
that are hardly visible and a new paint job is about the only thing that is
holding me back from classifying this car as a trailer queen.
This
car starts and runs like new, drives straight as an arrow with zero rattles and
can be driven anywhere.
I
reserve the right to end this auction early.
