We purchased this vehicle in 2008 for $40, 000, and it has an additional $25, 000 in engine and transmission work. It has a completely rebuilt 930 3.4 litre Turbo engine and drive train. The engine in this car alone is worth more than $40, 000. The engine produces an 8:1 compression ratio versus the stock 930 turbo 6:1 ratio. This is due to recent work which includes a performance cam, high compression cylinders, new bearings, rebuilt heads, new valves, pilot bearing, throw-out bearing, a new clutch disc, new synchronizers for the completely rebuilt transmission, among other things.
