1974 Porsche 914

Porsche 914 (1974)
for sale

Price: US $395.00

Description:

This is a vehicle I bought 8 plus years ago, with the intention of fixing it up and driving it. Other things have taken priority since then and I never even started on it. Now I need the space and figure it should go to someone who can get it on the road or at least use it for parts.
The car has rust in the usual places, which I tried to show in the pics. Areas of the jack points are quite rusted, as is below the battery tray. Someone built in a battery tray before I acquired the car. The drivers seat is not attached to the floor, because the tracks are rusted away, as are the floorboards in matching location, as pictured. There is a set of seat tracks in good condition included. There is a hole rusted thru the trunk floor, also as pictured. Left front fender is all bubbled up with rust. A pair of solid used fenders are also included.
The tires are dry rotted and suitable only to ride on a trailer for transport, and storage. The brakes are rusted up and I suspect would just stay applied if one stepped on the pedal, if they apply at all. Fuel injector on cylinder 4 leaks fuel. The front and rear rubber bumpers have rotting metal inside structure.
The engine does run on four cylinders. The clutch does engage and release. I did drive the car up and down the driveway, with caution due to no brakes and fuel leak. The headlights do go up and down. Wipers do not run. The car was equipped with A/C, pretty certain it does not work, since the duct and blower assy has been removed, but is included with the car. The spare is on the left front, and the matching wheel is currently in the spare location. There is an extra engine grill included.
I do take PayPal for payment. Other methods can be arranged as needed. The car will need to be picked up with a trailer or flatbed to be hauled.
