I purchased this SAAB from a European Repair Shop. The shop worked on this vehicle for a very old gentleman that decided he shouldn't be driving anymore. The SAAB set in his garage most of the time. It only has 41, 589 actual miles. The problems I have with it was the AC was not working and the owner of the garage promised he would make sure it worked if I purchased it. Obviously, he thought it probably only needed refrigerant. He was wrong, then he started replacing parts until he had completely redid the system. Still didn't work, so finally he check the switch button on the dash, it was bad and replaced. It still didn't work, found out the hoses were so bad it would not hold the Freon. Replaced the hoses and now the system works wonderfully. Also I replaced almost all the rubber hoses under the hood, they were all dry rotted. Some of the other things that are wrong with the car, the radio, it works but the volume is so low you can hardly hear it. Took it to a Automobile Radio Shop and found out the amp was bad. I didn't fix that. The driver’s seat track is not working properly, I have it set where I want it and I leave it alone. The upholstery is in good condition except it looks like the driver had a pen or screw driver in his back pocket and ripped the driver’s seat. The top is not leaking but showing some wear and will have to be replaced soon. I believe the car is in original condition, no major work has been done on it and it has never been in an accident. It has a small dent the size of a half a dollar over the back left tail light. There is no rust on the car. I have never owned a SAAB before and I couldn’t believe how well the car drives and how fast it is. It looks and drives like a new car. The reserve I put on this car is for what I have in it. I have checked other actions and these cars has sold for much more than my reserve. It the reserve is not met I will negotiate with the highest bidder. The buyer will be responsible to pick up the car or make arrangements to ship it.
