1971 Saab 96Barn Stored 37 years!
Stuck motor. Original paint and lots of fresh looking parts.
Easy restoration. NO RESERVE!!
Very appealing classic 96 V4. Last on the road in 1977 and motor is stuck. (We have a line on a good V4 for $350). This car was assembled in August '71 and titled as a '72 model.
Original paint and amazing detailing around the body seams, trim and under the hood. Uncracked original dashboard pad (when did you last see one of those? If ever?). Nice chrome and brightwork. Clean, straight grilles. Beautiful original plastic badges. Un-torn (but dirty) headliner inside. Nice door cards and clean instruments. There are two good dents in rear fenders, and a broken mirror on the door, but this car has an amazingly fresh original look to the exterior. There is rust down below, including a hole in the driver’s side floor, and rock chips along the lower body. But the important spots are all very solid: Boxed sills, suspension mounting points, shock towers in the trunk, etc. Under the hood is neat-as-a-pin, very clean, with little oxidation and no evidence of any crash damage. Detailing is amazing, like the clean adjustment hardware on the headlight buckets and a solid battery tray – the kind of little things you don’t see very often on these cars.
There’s just a whole lot of good stuff to work with on this car. Rolls easily and the tires hold air: Easy load and transport. Important note: We filled in the odometer field in eBay's template with the mileage shown on the car's odo (25, 048) as eBay demands...We do NOT claim that to be actual miles, and we have no idea if the instrument works or if its rolled to 125k.
