Pictures pretty much tell the story as I know it, bought the car like you see it a couple years ago, never got around to the project, someone else's turn now. Engine turns over, and even ran for a little bit, but roughly, and now the intake manifold and carb that were on it are sold, I was just planning on sticking a different motor in it, would make a great 16v turbo swap candidate. Trans is an old gear-drive primary unit, maybe the original, but is in untested condition. Comes with everything you see, including the nice set of Inca wheels with really bad tires that don't hold air for long. This car is in really decent shape for the year rust-wise, I wouldn't call it rust free because it isn't, but it's a lot better than average condition (I think at this point average 1972 99 condition is cubed up in a junkyard, or made into some other metal product already) and a worthy restoration candidate. This car was a very rare color, only available on 99's for half of '72 from what I understand, called California Burgundy, but basically, it's purple, would be very period correct painted back to that color, it's red now, and the paint is in bad shape. Check out the pictures, and email me with any questions, or come take a look for yourself. I also have a '73 EMS that runs but is rustier that we could make some sort of deal with if you want both cars.
