Up for sale from The Mustang Ranch in Golden Colorado. This 1967 Shelby GT 350 #67200F4A01469 has been owned by the Newman family in Tampico, IL since new. Victor Newman put the majority of the 88, 000 miles on the car and when Daniel acquired the car he just contributed a small part of that. This Shelby was in seclusion for a number of years and was out of service. During those years the numbers matching Hipo 289 and the 4 speed top loader were rebuilt. There is probably less than 2, 000 miles on the overhaul. In more recent times the following parts were replaced or rebuilt. Gas tank, fuel pump, radiator, rebuilt Hipo carb, oil change, tune up, brake booster/ master and more. The duel point distributor and spare tire/ wheel are trying to be located and might be available for purchase separately. The Shelby tag is original and the Shelby/ Ford vin numbers are clearly stamped into the engine bay sheet metal as well in the block/ transmission. I would say a fair amount of the Wimbeldon White paint is original. The left front fender and the drivers lower quarter skirt had a whisky bump or two and were repaired a long time ago. It would appear ALL original sheet metal and fiberglass. This GT 350 starts right up no smoke, noise or leaks at all. The clutch and all forward/ reverse gears engage smoothly. This is a rough driver Shelby, honest, origonal, un molested and could be placed into service easily or restored. There is some rust on the outer lower extremities but nothing catastrophic, no signs of heavy collision. I have had it out and she is road worthy. Good power, braking and steering. You know this is one of the most sought after Shelby's with this color and equipment. Make it simple, watch the video and see what the car is all about. Is this one yours?
