This is one of the rarest supercars in existence today with only 249 ever built. It is the only car that Carroll Shelby built from scratch! This Series 1 exemplifies one of the most desirable color combinations painted in centennial silver with blue racing stripes. The racing stripes go all the way from the front of the car down to the rear of the car. This example is in excellent condition showing 6600 actual miles on the speedometer. All fluids have been changed recently and new tires have been mounted on her since the originals were unsafe to drive due to their age. The car drives and runs great!!!
One of the most important aspects of this particular vehicle that is worth its weight in gold is the extensive documentation that conveys with the sale. Documentation includes all original sales documentation that I have attached photographs in addition to many photographs of the actual car as it is being assembles with its pride new owner and photos of the car in front of Shelby American headquarters in Las Vegas.
Please do your due diligence before you bid on this car. You will find that their are very few Shelby Series 1's on the market in the U.S today. There are only a handful if you are fortunate enough to find one especially in this superb condition! Lastly, I encourage you to reference several resources to determine the value before bidding. I have found that they provide very accurate current values for most vehicles using sales results of recent auctions to determine quarterly market trends and analysis. I forgot to mention that I recently had the entire front of the car clear bra'd along with the rocker panels and rear lower panel and side mirrors. This alone was a cost of $1500.00 but well worth the price. I also have a Shelby Series 1 OEM car cover that was specifically made for the car.
