Price: US $1,050.00
I am selling my 1955 Studebaker Champion. This was a daily driver the past two years, except the winter months. This car has not seen salted winter roads. I have replaced the hood and grille insert with a 1953 fiber glass parts from Class Glass. The car is from Bakersfield Ca. Blue License Plate, rust free and straight body. This is a very solid car. I have installed a 305 SBC motor and t5 trans with 20k original miles. It has a Ford 8' rear end with 2.73 gears. The Firebird seats are mounted for max visibility and comfort. The complete interior and trunk have been sound proofed The interior is complete and installed, I failed to get pics at posting. The original pleated back seat and side panels are done in black naugahyde, the carpeting needs to be replaced. I've installed a Hawk dash board and have SW fuel and engine gauges installed. The exterior paint is black but oxidized. The white stripe on the roof is a patina that appeared this fall. It has the look of a Gene Winfield style fadeaway paint job, I thought a signed glove box was in order.
