Up for Auction at NR; A 1966 STUDEBAKER DAYTONA 2 Door. This car is an original 283 Chevrolet powered model with an Automatic transmission. The car was redone/modified with a lot of $ and time thrown at it by the builder who really loved the little car. It has a Clean/straight overall body, Custom grey tweed interior, power windows, VDO phantom style gauges/custom dash panel, upgraded wiring harness (late style fuses) Tilt wheel, Bucket seats, 4 wheel disc brakes, 3.23 dana 44 rear, B&M pro-stick shifter, Lecarra leather steering wheel, WELD drag star wheels 15 X 8 front - 15 X 10 rear and more. The driveline was upgraded to allow a TH 350 transmission vs the original Borg warner unit. The car currently has engine/transmission removed but a correct, original rebuilt Studebaker supplied 283 IS included. The transmission (TH 350) should be easy to locate with a little effort. The body has nice, original floors/trunk pan and majority of the paint makes a good/decent appearance with it's share of scratches/scrapes that reflect use/wear. FYI...the scoop is just sitting on the hood in pictures. The tires are dry from sitting and will need to be replaced. This is a PROJECT CAR that will need attention in some areas. INCLUDED with the car are NOS Studebaker grilles/parts, an extra PAIR of clean fenders, extra hood, extra windshield/rear glass and window trim. Also included are the radiator, TH 350 custom driveshaft, Coated SBC block hugger headers and exhaust. There is a lot of value here for the $.. This is an awesome alternative rod on the cheap! If you are looking for a perfect PROJECT CAR for less than 3K keep looking. Ask all questions before bidding. Buyer pays all shipping costs on this vehicle-if applicable.
