First off, let me start by stating that I believe in full-disclosure and open and honest communication. I am selling this car for a good friend of mine whom I trust. I will be happy to provide answers to any questions you may have (I will ask him). This car is located in Minneapolis, MN and was involved in an accident when it had 2623 miles on it. Since then it was repaired and re-certified by Tesla, it has a rebuilt title and because of that you are getting one hell of a deal!
From the Owner:This car was purchased in non-running condition and was professionally rebuilt and certified by Tesla. Car had no frame damage, just some airbags deployed. I'm an accomplished Engineer who owns a body-shop and a dealership that specializes in aluminium exotics! I now have moved up to another Tesla (P85D) that we have recently restored, so we're now selling this one so it can find a new home. I have owned this car for a year and half and had absolutely no problems with it, since the car is certified by Tesla any service center will work on it.
This car is in excellent condition and the interior still smells new. 21 inch wheels are curb-rashed (my wife drove the car). There are a few little scratches and chips here and there as expected with a 2013 car. It drives smooth and quiet, as you'd expect from a Model S. Battery pack is in excellent shape with reported 223 amp-hour capacity (see picture of diagnostic screen). *I am so confident in the condition of this car that I will offer the buyer a main battery warranty for 3 months (90 days) from date of purchase. If the battery has any problems that prevent the car from driving, I will repair it quickly and at my cost, provided you drop off and pick-up the car at my Minneapolis location. I will also be happy to assist in the future should you ever need anything for the car. (My friend knows these cars inside and out and can diagnose them just like Tesla technicians can.) How many people selling you a used car will do this for you?!?
Because this car is rebuilt-titled, you are getting an awesome deal! On average a car with these options and in this condition would easily go for $15, 000 - $20, 000 more. A restored rebuilt-titled car is the easiest way for us Tesla fans to get into the best car made without breaking the bank!
