Now on to the truck:
1996 Toyota Land Cruiser, 4WD, 4x4 with front & rear differential lockers. Moonglow Gray Metallic with tan leather interior, 3 0wner car has been in California since new. ZERO rust. Look at all the photos. Clean CarFax, no accidents, original paint. Excellent maintenance history.
This is a remarkable example of an incredibly well kept Land Cruiser. Was purchased new right here in California and owned by 2 particular gentlemen before my ownership. I love this truck! I sold my superb Lexus LX 450 with 129K miles to buy this truck and ONLY selling because I bought another Cruiser built just a tad more built than this one that you might see in the photos.
4.5 Liter fuel injected straight 6, automatic full-time 4x4 (4WD) with low range and front, center & rear factory lockers. Moonglow with tan leather, moonroof, 3rd row seats, tow package, roof rack, rear fin, Toyota Security System/keyless entry, alloy wheels etc. Also have factory running boards that come with the truck if the new owner wants them. They are off the truck now with factory mud flaps in their place.
This truck runs, drives, brakes and shifts just as it should and is a pleasure to drive. Low-range system works beautifully. All diff locks fully engage perfectly.
The power windows work great. Both power seats work as they should though the passenger seats is a little slow. Really everything works on this cruiser, the power mirrors, power button, 2nd gear start button, moonroof etc. The only thing that doesn't work is the power antenna but stereo reception comes in great and the D light is burned out.
It also has the CDL switch (center diff lock) added and the pull out cup holder in the dash. Recent service items to note included: valve cover gasket replaced, fluid changed, new air filter, new distributor cap, spark plugs, plug wires and tube seals. Just serviced with oil change, filter and full lube.
Tasteful modifications done within the last 5k- 6k miles. Old Man Emu 2.5 heavy lift in the front with spacer and medium in the rear, castor correction kit, Old Man Emu shocks and steering stabilizer, Slee Short Bus front bumper, Warn M8000 winch (never used), Goodyear MTR 285/75/R16. Also new Alpine audio system and 4 new speakers including hands free Bluetooth. It rides incredible with this set up and looks great.
This truck was almost always garaged and it shows! The exterior is near perfect with original paint looking great with a few character dings and very small scratchers here and there noted in the photos. About the only faded paint is on the fender flares though very minor and most people don't notice. The fender flare rubber gaskets are in great shape with no deterioration. Please look closely at the photos I tried to zero in on any blemishes. The original alloys wheels look great with a bit of the polish wearing slightly. The original jack and tool kit are present. I have 2 sets of keys and a lot of documentation of maintenance, the original window sticker, owners manuals and Moonglow touch-up paint with clear coat . All original VIN stickers are present showing all original body panels, hood, rear hatch etc. Doesn't leak any oil though the rear main seal has a small amount of seepage but again it does not leak.
The interior is also near perfect condition. All original seats, carpet etc. The leather seats are original with only minor wear on the front and second row and the 3rd row is near new condition. The dash controls, the dash plastics, the console, the gear shifts, the carpet, the headliner are exceptional. The leather steering wheel has minor wear at the 10 o'clock position but I keep a decent cover on it to prevent further wear as you'll see in the photos.
