'68 Spitfire for restoration. This car is an amazing time capsule. .it is complete as they come, unmolested, even has the key in the ignition. The 68 spit has the most desirable 1296 (bored out but not yet stroked) engine with rare dual carbs. For the most part the rust has not eaten thru and is just scale. The floor boards are not rusted thru. The frame seems strong and not rusted thru either. The rocker panels are rusted thru in front of rear tires as is a spot on the headwall behind the brake master. The car is all original and has not been painted or had any previous bodywork. Stored inside heated garage for the last 25 years. During this time it has not been started. A hard top is installed there is no soft top. I have a title for this car but it is not signed or notarized. Wonderful car for a fun and inexpensive restoration. Spitfires are one of the easiest cars to work on and would make a great father son project. 25% of bid price must be paid via paypal within 24 hours with remainder paid in 7 days.
