1977 Triumph Spitfire project/parts car. It is
NOT
driveable and is being sold AS-IS as a project. With that said, the engine runs and sounds pretty good. No missfire, smoke, or funny noises. I put clutch fluid in and pumped it up for long enough to go through the gears, and the clutch/transmission felt strong. It has Crane electronic ignition, the carburetor is rebuilt, and it has new spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor cap and rotor. It has a new electric fuel pump that is not routed to the fuel tank or wired up. The brake pedal and clutch pedal are on the floor, but the master and slave cylinders are believed to be good. New pads and shoes included. There is rust throughout the body, but very little rust-through or serious rust. Needs a driver's floor pan, but the trunk and passenger side are okay. Good glass and top frame. The top has rips though. 4 almost new tires and 5 original wheels. Payment in full due at the close of this auction. Buyer to arrange shipping/transport. The car rolls freely.Odometer reads 56.000. Unknown whether that is original.I have a lien-free Tennessee title, and a few previous bills of sale.
