Here is an excellent example of British roadster. The car has been very well cared for its whole life and has an awesome back story. It was original purchased by a Yale professor in England and he had it shipped to New Haven CT. All the original docs are still with the car, including the invoice and title! I’m the second owner and have enjoyed the car for many years.
I have restored the car to its original condition. I didn’t cut any corners on the resto and took the time and money to do it right. Everything has been gone through, and if something needed to be replaced I did so, right down to the classic Coker redlines tires with a spare. We did a tube shock conversion, and added a Petronix electronic ignition. All new ball joints and motor mounts and a spin-on oil filter. SU HS6 carbs, K&N chrome air filters and new radiator and steel cowl. The car has new windows on both sides and a new Robbins canvas top. New Barlwood dash with dash crash pads, interior door panels and a trunk panel kit. I just had the car fully serviced and tuned up, including a new exhaust. The motor was also rebuilt at 45k and we noticed the block was cracked so that was replaced as well. I have 2” in receipts and invoices from the restoration.
Mechanically the car is 100% sound and is a dream to drive. The car is mint! TR-6s are still affordable, but have been steadily appreciating. The car speaks for its self and the pictures tell it all. This is an honest car with an honest description. You can confidently bid on the car.
Summer is here and I can’t think of a better cruising car for the money!
