ABOUT THE CAR:

THE TR7s IN GENERAL :
+ The TR7 was British Leland's best selling Triumph TR sports car.
+ Few folks know that a GOOD TR7 coupe is a super road car. Great handling, but more compliant with coil rear suspension.
+ TR7s had heavy steering parked and at low speed. I fixed that.
Someday folks will realize what a great car the TR7s are and the prices for good ones like this will double.
This exceptional coupe can run Interstates all day long in 5th gear manual overdrive in Air Conditioned comfort. And I have. Try that in an MGB! It corners flatly with very good grip. The upgrades which have been done to this car are too numerous to list, but a few highlights are:
1. Power steering (not available as a factory option on these cars) with adjustable boost control from the driver's seat.
2. Complete engine rebuild at approx. 48, 000 miles, including clutch.
3. Engine upgraded to UK/Euro specs - more power.
4. All new brake hydraulics.
5. New shocks all around and new front springs.
6. New windshield (couldn't stand the pitting).
7. New driveshaft.
I have approx. $6, 000 in receipts for new parts.
This car has been a consistent trophy winner at British car shows. (Last show was July 23)
