This is a hard to find (4-wheel drive VW Syncro). This has the weekender package-rear seat folds into bed, (cushion over engine compartment). The paint is flash silver clearcoat metallic with grey velour interior seats that have no tears and in very good condition. The carpets are also in great shape and has the VW front to rear matt to protect the carpet. This is a 2nd owner van which was purchased for the family in 1992 from Carter VW in Seattle, WA. The engine was replaced March , 2000 at 142, 296 by Carter VW in Seattle, WA The replacement engine has been driven only 37, 8754 miles and the clutch was also replaced at the same time as the engine. The vans transmission shifts smoothly with its 4-speed manuel plus low -gear. The engine runs great with no issues. The van has been keep under cover and the overall condition of the body and paint is very good. This van has always been in the Pacific NW its entire life and has no body rust as you would see on a vehicle on the East Coast. The van looks good and it feels like you'd want to take it on a long trip just like it was made for you to do.
