Up for sale is my 1999 VW Golf GTI. Runs and drives great. No mechanical or transmission issues. Entire car is plasti-dipped in Sazuka Blue. Always used Mobil 1 Full Synthetic motor oil and 93 octane gas. Car has many upgrades and services recently completed.
Good:
1. Complete interior swap from a 20th Anniversary GTI (Front and rear Recaro GTI seats, door panels, headliner, brushed aluminum dash trim, 3-spoke steering wheel, GTI rubber floor mats)
2. New front control arms with upgraded poly urethane bushings
3. New struts/shocks with Eibach lowering springs
4. New Bosal exhaust system
5. New NGK spark plugs and wires
6. Complete brake system flush
7. Complete transmission service completed with new gasket and Amsoil Full Synthetic ATF fluids
8. Polished Audi TT Fat Five wheels with newer Goodyear tires.
9. Steel under carriage plate, protects entire under side of engine from getting damaged.
10. MK5 front bumper (plastic not cheap fiberglass) w/ HID foglights
11. Aftermarket HID projector headlights
12. VW GTI 20th Anniversary trunk with spoiler13. New battery
Not so good:
1. AC system needs to be recharged
2. ABS light on but system is working (verified with VAGCOM). ABS module and pump was replaced so not sure how to clear the light. Again, the ABS system works, it's just the light on the dash that comes on interminently.
3. Airbag light for seat is on due to the Recaro GTI seats, the connectors are different on the Recaro seats then the ones on the old seats.
Overall, it's a solid car. It's currently my daily driver so the mileage will change.
