1971 Karmann Ghia Convertible- -Car was sold on May 24, 1971 by Durham Motors New Orleans, La. for $3137.06 (have the original bill of sale and window sticker). Car has some small door dings, paint cracking. No major body damage. Nose has never been hit. Small scrapes on each rocker panel but not bad. Rockers, quarter panels, floor pans have NO rust out. Interior needs new door panels, dash pad, rear seat covers and carpet. Front seats in great shape. Top in good shape except for one small tear on drivers side (see picture) does not leak. Car has new gas tank (installed before I bought it) new alternator, new Pertronix distributor with coil, & new carburetor. Car runs and drives fine. Could use a tune up and maybe adjust valves. Also have original owners manual service record book ( book has been stamped by dealer with service through 5-11-72).
