This vehicle is in amazing condition. It has lived its entire life in sunny, road-salt and snow-free environments of Gilbert AZ, Monterey CA, and NM. It has absolutely no rust anywhere and does not leak nor burn a drop of oil or any other fluids. It is like brand new underneath, inside, and outside. The car has never been repainted or in an accident. It will make someone a happy new TDI wagon owner. These cars are amazingly practical, durable, dependable, and efficient to run. Every single problem item and maintenance item have been repaired or replaced. The paint is gorgeous. It has never been smoked in. I have an extensive file with maintenance history going back until 2007. All services have been done on time or early. Every oil change was done with the correct 5W-40 synthetic oil for VW Diesel engines-VAG specification 505.02. The transmission, drive axles, front suspension links, timing belt and serpentine belt with water pump and coolant (at 172, 000 miles in October last year), tires, brakes, motor and transmission mounts, boost sensor, MAF sensor, filters, and fluids are all new or renewed within the last couple of years. The car also has Xenon HID headlights installed. I am selling because I realize that I can't stand driving a car with an automatic transmission. I have over $9, 000 in this car. My loss is your gain. The interior seats look like they have never been sat in. The only problem is the leading edges of the back door belt moulding have come loose. Big deal. Doesn't affect how the car looks or drives and rides. This is a highway cruising king par excellence. It easily achieves 35 to 40 mpg on the highway and feels solid and comfortable, like the Audi it is underneath, and thanks to the Audi suspension and chassis system. This car is ready for another 100, 000 miles of reliable and comfortable, cost efficient service.
