The body is in CLEAN condition for it's age. The car comes with ORIGINAL parts, authentic wheels from 1979, everything is ORIGINAL. (Collector license plate, wheel, shifter)
The original engine 1.7L can be included as well, however, there is a 1.8L engine out of a 84-86 Volkswagen Golf which was installed in the car for me. The Volkswagen Golf Engine may work, but someone who is mechanically inclined will have to update the cooling system.
The engine bay is easily swapable and is very well known in the custom car community. Many other engine options can be put into the car if you had the money to spend on this project car.
Racing seats, a modern turbo engine swap and racing wheels could make the famous wheelbase of a Scirocco fun on your local race track. Otherwise this car is so nice and in such great condition it can be a collector's item.
