I have for sell my 1989 Volvo 240DL wagon. This brick is solid and super well cared for! It has the popular 2.3L 4cyl motor. Don't let the miles of (289K) scare you because not only is it almost in the 300k club it also has many miles left in her!
The motor runs smooth and does not burn oil! It is equipped with factory A/C that blows cold and works well. It also has the rare 5 speed transmission that is super fun to drive.The paint is very nice! No fading anywhere on it. I do believe that the passenger fender has been painted at some point because a small amount of clear has peeled off of it. (you have to look real hard to see it and it will not show up in pictures). All of the interior is in great shape. It has no rips or tares anywhere. The padding is still very good also.
The aftermarket radio works well and has a tape player. As I said the dash has 2 cracks in it (See pics. This is very normal for old Volvos.) The map pockets on the doors have been removed. The tires are good with over 80% tread left on them. The car is rust free! I thought the Vermont tag looked good on it as I collect state tags.(Tag does not go with car.) The car is not a Northern car.I am an old Volvo lover and the only reason I am selling this car is I bought a 1990 that needs painting and some TLC and I have to get rid of a car to have the cash to paint my other one.
I love the 5 speed and if you have never has a 5 speed Volvo I think you will love this one!
