1965 Willys Jeep CJ3B - Full Frame-Off Restoration / Very close to what it would be like if you could go back in time and buy it new from a dealer!
Original mileage was approx 46K and since completion of restoration in June 2015, I have driven it about 300 miles.
The original F-Head 134 engine and drive-train was rebuilt completely and upgraded with all new internal parts. Electronic ignition and 12 volt alternator have been added and it will now run on unleaded gas! The transmission is rebuilt with new internal parts and bearings and it has a new clutch assembly. The transfer case was rebuilt also and a new heavy duty intermediate shaft upgrade was installed.
The brake system is completely new Shoes, cylinders, tubing, hoses, hardware etc. all new
The fuel system is all new tank, tubing, pump, and rebuilt carburetor.
Suspension is new including springs and shocks and u-bolts etc.
This was a Frame-Off restoration and the frame was stripped and new cross-members were installed. it was treated with POR-15 and then 2 coats of Rust-Oleum.
The refinished wheels were re-installed with new military tread tires and new tubes.
The original grille, hood and tailgate were refurbished and they have the original Willys stamping.
The windshield frame was re-conditioned and the vacuum wipers were replaced with dual electric motors (not shown in pictures)
A new steel body tub was mounted with new steel fenders. The manufacturer states these were submerged in sealer prior to shipment. The body tub has the tool box under the passenger seat and the functioning tailgate has been retained with new chains!
It is finished in BC/CC urethane paint 2015 Jeep Color Firecracker Red the inside and the underneath are also painted the same.
It will accept all available aftermarket accessories such as a soft-top etc.
This Jeep comes with a new tow bar and new safety chains and is wired with a bypass switch to allow it to be towed and have the tail-lights work from the towing vehicle properly.
I have brought this Jeep to many car shows and parades this summer and it is a crowd pleaser !
Buyer is responsible to pick it up in Harwich, MA and it is sold as is and with a clear title in my name.
