I have owned this car since 1998, it has always been garaged and driven on weekends only in good weather. The car is a manual transmission with electric overdrive, tri-carbs and upgraded to electronic ignition. The engine has great compression and the oil psi is 50.
The car is in excellent condition with a long list of improvements over the years including chrome/stainless wire wheels, new top(not fitted), new leather interior and carpets, new camshaft, new carbureators, wiring harness, stainless steel exhaust, new clutch, paint (8 years ago), tonneau cover, rebuilt steering box, wheel mounts, brakes, tires, steel gas tank, rear seals and shocks.Complete list of upgrades will be provided to the buyer.
The frame is straight, floor boards solid, no front end shake.
It was built in September of 1958 and is the first model year the 3000 (in 1959 Austin Healy built both 100-6 and 3000 body styles).
This car is a great driver in excellent condition and will provide years of enjoyment.
