Thank you for looking at our 1959 Edsel Corsair. It has dealer-installed air conditioning that works fine, power steering and brakes with the 352 V8 2 barrel. Over the last 40 years, there’s only been about 40, 000 miles put on the car. The car is from Arizona. It was not driven a lot, but taken care of very well. Being that the car is pushing 60 years old, the original owner is no longer alive, but the people that owned it after him have taken excellent care of this classic beauty. This car is listed in the Edsel registry. This car is so clean from bumper to bumper, you’d probably have to do very little to it to put it in a museum. But that’s no way for a car to spend its life; it should be taken out and driven. Mechanically, this car runs phenomenally. It has all new hoses and belts. I’d like to mention some of the repairs just completed over the past 90 days.
1. Complete tune-up, with all fluids changed,
2. New battery,
3. Rebuilt carburetor,
4. New shocks and suspension front and back, and
5. Four new tires and brakes.
6. The car has been totally inspected from bumper to bumper.
The only two things that do not work are:
1. The radio (which does light up)
2. The horn.
The body and chrome on this car is just incredible for its age. It had one repaint 40 years ago, done with all lacquer. The interior is in excellent shape. There is a little bit of shredding on the driver’s seat where the man would have his wallet. This car is so nice that if you ever had to replace it, it would not be easy to ever find one as good as this one is today. With the red exterior, white top and black interior, we feel that the color combination really adds a lot of pizzazz to its great looks. But that’s for you, the buyer, to decide. This car was just taken on a 700 mile trip last week. It drives absolutely beautifully. The air set on low will keep you cool when its 90 degrees outside. If you’re looking for a better-than-average driver that will definitely increase in value in the years to come, we hope you will consider bidding.

We need the car paid for within 48 hours, as stated above, either by cash or certified bank check, after the auction is over. The car will be released after the check clears.
