Hey guys, I have a 68 XR-7 GT that has me over my skies in time and money. The car is nearly complete only missing the air cleaner, lid, A/C unit, and front lower valance. It needs total resto but I took it to a shop when I bought it and the got it running. The bad: rust in the normal spots (hood not horrible) no breaks, floor pan is rusted, back lower corners are rusted, blah blah...it's old and from Indiana. The Good: #'s matching car, Only 1, 845 built in 68, $1, 500 in parts that I've spent with WCC, several pieces rechromed or polished (whole front grill restored) several parts powder coated black(license plate holder, Hood latch system). Parts I bought for it include the snorkel ($300), many bulbs, A grade switches, gear shifter. .on and on. Carpet has been removed but most interior pieces in GREAT shape. Door panels near perfect, NEW dash cover!, kick panels okay, console in great condition, back seat leather okay...fronts seats shot...VIN# 8F93S519499...many pictures.
Part's include: New dash cover (expensive) Snorkel for air cleaner (expensive) gear shifter, new fuel pump, lots of bulbs and A grade switches, chromed valve covers, grill pieces, interior door handles, powdercoated hood latch system, rear plate holer and I'm sure I'm forgetting something. Between parts from West Coast Classic Cougars, Rechromeing, and powdercoating, I've spent probably $3000. I spent $1, 550.00 at WCC alone.
The car is in Tucson Arizona. You find a way to come get it, and payment is due 72 hours after close of auction. Happy Bidding!!!!

I thought I'd add a little bit more information about the car. It is an
S code
which most of you are probably aware of if you know your cougars and or ford products. I also thought I'd break down the vin number and the door tag number that's located on the rear edge of the driver side door sill.

“The car does not currently run. The motor does turn over but the car needs a total restoration. It's from the midwest so there is rust in the normal Cougar areas. The floor boards are roached, the corners need repaired, the hood lip is rusty, the bottom of the doors are rusty. It's rusted pretty good but there are many parts that are available that are reproduced and many part cars available throughout the country. The good is that it's nearly all there, what's missing is the carpet and padding, the air cleaner, front lower valance, A/C unit and I think that's it. Original Carburetor in trunk as well as the original valve covers, which have already been re chromed. They look great! Want the tag number? 65B O 6G 26M 32 1 U”
