This MGB was
brought in from California and is an early, low serial # MGB with
highly desirable pull handle doors. It retains early classic looks
while having upgrades for drivability and convenience such as a full synchronized
transmission, five main bearing engine, and 12 volt negative ground
conversion. Finished in British Racing Green and black interior with
white piping, the car shows well, and looks as great going down the road as
sitting in your garage! This car was treated to a full engine rebuild when it
was freshened a few years ago. The soft top is a very nice custom
made Caribou canvas top that looks MUCH better than many of the vinyl tops more
commonly found. The car runs great, and drives well too! Also, it looks great in British Racing Green. also, includes a fiber glass hardtop in White. Makes a nice accent and adds to the value of the car.
Car Number is GHN3L 14698 with a 4 speed synchronized transmission. Engine number is 18V890AEL005008. The engine and transmission are from A 1980. The car is very nice, not a number 1 show car, but presents itself very well. The paint is very good and shines great. There are a few nicks a scratches as you can see in the pictures, but still very nice. Also has a few bubbles on the top cowl, but according to previous owner they have been there for many years and not getting any larger. The engine bay has been detailed and presents well. The under carriage is nice with no rust. The Stainless steel Trophy exhaust sounds great.
