Hello, and welcome to this auction. My uncle has decided to part ways with his very sharp 1976 MG Midget 1500. I will have his number listed below if you have any questions at all.
This car is very sharp, very straight and rust free. There is so much new on this little car, that it is nearly restored.
Cosmetically, the convertible top, along with it’s frame has been replaced. The windshield and it’s frame has been replaced. It has new original paint, new undercoating, new tonneau cover, new leather bra, as well as cotton car cover.
Mechanically, All the brakes, calipers, seals and bearings are new or rebuilt. The alternator, air pump, water pump, radiator, belts, and hoses are new. New clutch, and exhaust except for the muffler. The muffler will need replaced down the road.
Inside, the driver’s seat frame has been replaced. The radio and stereo have been replaced, as well as all the bulbs, lenses, and carpet.
As stated before, there are a few things that will need attention at some point. The muffler will need replaced at some point. The dash pad does have minor cracks, and the seats will need recovered down the road.
The car does come with the original jack and cover. Has a full size spare. My uncle believes to be the third owner. Clear Wyoming title is in hand. The car will also come with several extras. Belts, hoses, weatherstripping, oil and radiator caps, antennae, and much more. It also comes with a pile of receipts!
