Only 1 of 10 known to exist in the USA according to the DAF Club of America registry.
I offer this rare and unique MicroCar... a 1962 DAF Daffodil type 303 built in Holland with the Variomatic/Automatic belt driven transmission. DAF was the company credited with perfecting the first successful CVT application in cars in 1957.
The DAF only has 24, 000 original miles and only needs to have the outer rocker panels repaired...other than this the body is in great condition.
Interior is in good original condition (as seen by the photos). Motor is free but has not run in about 10 years. Not to worry, I have run DAF motors (they are virtually bulletproof) which have sat much longer. These 2 cylinder motors are super reliable. The Variomatic transmission only requirea a routine service (fluids topped off) and a set of new belts (available through the club).
All technical services (& some parts) are available through the DAF Club of America.
The car is being sold because it is excess in my collection and would rather see it being enjoyed rather than sitting in my barn/workshop.
