Item for bid is one 1953 Circleville Buckeye State Front License Plate. This is not a state issued item. These were made for sale in 1953 for the various Ohio cities for people to buy to show where they were from or to boost their local area. (Only one plate issued 1953, these were put on the front of the car.) All original, very good condition, minor scratches and dents at the upper bolt holes where the mounting bolts were tightened. Nice gloss. Great plate.
