I'm the 3rd owner of this C/A. Original owner was a young lady from Levittown, PA. who purchased this car back in the day & didn't let her husband drive it. I tracked them down & met with them at their place of business several years ago looking for some original documents from her treasure but they weren't able to produce any. The were happy to know that the car was still alive & well. The 2nd owner obtained the PHS documents. I started restoring the car & purchased many parts & stripped a Grand Lemans for the big parts. Please read the below description for what new parts and professional work has been done to this car. I'll be losing money on this deal but the C/A needs a new owner to bring her back to cosmetic beauty. The kids college payments are due so it's time to let her go to a new home.

OEM PARTS in Very Good Condition INCLUDED to Restore Can Am:
Grand Lemans Hood -- (Needs T/A hole cut into it)
Drivers Side Front Fender from Grand Lemans.
Never in an accident. Restoration started by changing passenger fender with Grand Lemans part.
Trunk lid from Grand Lemans.
Dash Pad (Needs to be color dyed to Firehorn Red) wiring & Stock Gauges from Grand Lemans inside of dash. It will be the buyers responsibility to remove these parts & ship. Some parts may fit inside of the car but we can discuss what works best.
Some miscellaneous parts will be included. (will store them in trunk for shipping when sold to new owner)
All Interior & Exterior lights & Directional's are in working condition. The Power Windows work very well. Air Conditioning is in working condition but will require a Freon charge or a 134 conversion. All the gauges work but the clock needs a few taps to get going. The 8 track was replaced with a Factory AM/FM Stereo radio. The Engine runs smooth and starting is effortless. A few pumps on the gas pedal and she'll turn right over. The transmission shifts great but will require a linkage adjustment since it doesn't drop the stick shift into low. Factory Transmission cooler still hooked up. It looks like the C/A still has the original factory single exhaust. Original 1977 N65 Stow Away Spare Tire still in the Trunk with Jack. Original Factory Red Rubber Mats included.This C/A was in an S & K Speed magazine article with picture.
THIS IS A FAIR PRICE FOR THIS RARE CAR WITH ALL OF THIS WORK DONE.
NY State Inspected, Registered and Insured with collectors car insurance.
Also I know where a set of doors are located. There about 15 minutes from my location. They're none power but supposedly rust free in the Craigslist ad. They want $450.00 for the pair. I'll give this info to the new owner.

Full Payment is due within 5 days, Cash or a Bank Certified Check. Bank Check must clear before removal of car off premise's. NO Exceptions. Removal of Can Am will be within 7 days of Sale. If shipping company is used to transport Can Am I must be notified of pickup date. You could still pay the old fashion way with CASH & Drive off into the Sunset with this car.
