1989 Subaru XT6
This is the Cadillac of Subaru cars. It is rare. You here that term thrown around a lot but in this case it's true. There is a glut of four cylinder XT's out there. There are very few six cylinder XT6's. The engine is very strong!
With that said. This car runs. The body is pretty straight. The title is clean. It needs work. This is a 4 wheel drive car with a five speed stick shift.
The clutch slips a little. We drove it for 10 years that way. It needs adjusting.
A wire connecting the rear window defogger needs soldering.
It needs a new door latch. The door shuts but is wearing out.
It needs a windshield wiper motor. There is one available on Ebay. It has been there for a year now.
The glove compartment door latch needs replacing.
It has a pin hole leak in the top of the radiator. A touch of JB Weld will take care of that.
It has a cracked windshield.
It needs a headlight switch.
It needs a key for the trunk but there is a button to open the trunk from inside the car.
It has air conditioning but needs a recharge.
It has a brand new muffler and Catalytic converter with about two miles on them.
It has a new water pump.
It has a new Timing Belt.
The interior in Clean.
I have the owner manual.
This car is driveable but needs work.
This is an excellent Parts Car or Restoration Project.
