1971 Triumph Other GT6 MK3

Triumph Other GT6 MK3 (1971)

Price: US $11,000.00

Description:

This GT6 was restored and almost all parts that wear were gone through or replaced in the last 6 years. The frame was powdercoated, new sheet metal was installed on the doors, the sills, the floors. The tunnel and all the interior parts that could be sourced new were replaced or redone. It is truly a nice car. Starts instantly, idles smooth, drives and stops as it should. The dual exaust has a really nice sound to it, a calm low growl that never sounds obnoxious.
Though it is a really beautiful car, it is not 100% perfect. A small flaw in the bonnet paint can be seen by the clip, there are some minor 1/4x1/4 maximum paint chips on the pinch weld under the sills, some scratches on the firewall. The paint scheme was not done to any stock options, nor is the interior stock, (those are the original seats though!). If your looking for a perfect stock show car, look elsewhere. This is an extremely nice occasional or daily driver that was rebuilt to be reliable and worthy of fun jumps across town as well as extended road trips.
Too many parts new parts and too much work to list. I will supply what I have kept of all receipts for parts and work done. A lot of the work was done personally, for myself, and right.
