Description:

Up for a no reserve auction is a 1973 TR6. Last year for wire wheels The only history I have on the vehicle it was an older restoration out of Indiana that sat in a garage for many years. I purchased it two years ago as a winter project i purchased it because it was a nice rust free car in need of a complete going over. as an older restoration it had the floor pans replaced and looks like the passenger rocker panel all other sheet metal appears to be original and in great condition . THE INTERIOR was totally removed and all panels are covered in sound deadening material. new dash board, glove box, and some switches. THE MECANICALS, it has a solid running engine, no smoking of any kind, transmission shifts as it should in all 4 gears, has a new brake servo and master cylinder, new clutch slave cylinder, oil pressure sending unit, all hoses, heater valve, clamps, aluminum radiator, thermostat, cooling fan, vacuum hoses, throttle cables, choke cable, hood release cable, wind shield washer bottle and hoses, the exhaust intermediate pipes, ALL NEW THE BODY , everything was removed sanded and repainted three coats anthracite metallic grey four coats of clear the paint job is an 8 out of 10 and looks very nice. all seals and rubber were replaced with new when put back together. also has a new top, mirrors, wiper blades and arms, antenna, mp3 radio, speakers . THE ELECTRICAL all lights and gauges are working as they should and the fuse panel is updated to new style fuses. TIRES are older redlines which all hold air fine. spare rim in trunk no tire, THE FRAME is very solid through out the car . .NOW FOR THE BAD? rear bumper center section has a small rust spot on the lower side. Appears as though some one may have run up a curb or something there is a small 1.5 inch tear in the lower cross section brace where the frames meet in need of a weld. also one of the mounts for the rear end is in need of welding which is common for these cars. unfortunately I don't weld. there is also a light clunk in the right rear believed to be because of the mount needing welded. the seat belts are missing. overall this car is in great shape and would make an excellent weekend driver for the right enthusiast. car is being sold as is where is with no reserve or warranty
