I have owned this car for about 7 years. It appears to me that before I purchased it, the engine may have been restored as new gasket seal could be seen around the heads. I have taken compression reading and showed them to a MGB guy and he said they all looked good. He looked at my oil pressure and also said that was excellent as many worn engines exhibit low oil pressure. The engine has performed very well for me over the last seven years.
Since I purchased this car, I have added a brand new top, added new carped in the trunk and floor, replaced the breaks all around, added new bushing in the suspension all around, added new rear leaf springs, added new tires, added a new alternator and various other items.
I have yet to test / work on the heater.
There is a small amount of rust above the rear wheels but none to speak of anywhere else.
Also includes a large Workshop Manual, spare alternator, headlamp, and misc small parts
